Phish Mondregreen Festival
Dover, Delaware
August 2024
CONSTRUCTION DESIGN AND EXTERIOR GRAPHIC DESIGN BY TRIADIC
————————
Mondegreen, Phish's 11th festival, was a four-day event held from August 15–18, 2024, at The Woodlands in Dover, Delaware, attracting approximately 45,000 attendees. TRIADIC collaborated closely with Phish and AEG Presents to curate and produce the festival's art and creative direction, integrating large-scale interactive installations, immersive site-specific commissions, and spontaneous performances throughout the festival grounds.
The Heliograph— An octagon, a spaceship, a viewing tower, a beacon of hope, a structure of strangeness, whatever you want and need it to be. Heliograph takes inspiration from 1950s retro-futuristic architecture and graphic design, and was conceived & designed by TRIADIC, the festival’s art directors, in collaboration with Theatre Projects, Liquid PXL, Moment Factory and Event Revolution. The structure merges architecture, design, and light, as well as collage-art by TRIADIC’s Mafalda Millies, which covers the base facades of the 74 foot high structure.
The Heliograph also functioned as a dynamic performance space, hosting late-night DJ sets by notable artists such as Questlove, Sylvan Esso's Nick Sanborn (performing as Made of Oak), and the Flying Mojito Brothers.
