————————

Founded in New York in 1985, the Guerrilla Girls are anonymous artist activists who use disruptive headlines, outrageous visuals, and killer statistics to expose gender and ethnic bias and corruption in art, film, politics, and pop culture. Gorilla masks conceal their identities; dead female artists serve as pseudonyms.

For Daisy Chain Fields, TRIADIC curated the Guerrilla Girls' iconic 'Complaints Department' — an interactive installation inviting festival goers to air their grievances, about the state of the world or anything else, on giant chalkboards alongside GG billboards. Attendees also had the opportunity to meet the Guerrilla Girls in person.
